Our
Terms
Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering or participating in Elevated Hoops activities, you agree to follow all program policies and expectations listed here. These terms apply to players, parents, and guardians for the entire duration of each season or event.
2. Participation and Eligibility
Players must be officially registered and have all required forms submitted before attending practices, games, or events. Elevated Hoops reserves the right to verify eligibility and decline participation if forms, fees, or waivers are incomplete.
3. Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk
Basketball involves physical activity and risk of injury. By allowing your child to participate, you understand and accept all risks related to practices, games, travel, and team events. Elevated Hoops, its owners, coaches, volunteers, and facility partners are not responsible for injury, illness, loss, or property damage that may occur. Parents or guardians confirm that the player is physically fit to participate and carries active medical insurance.
4. Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency, coaches or authorized staff may obtain medical treatment for a player when a parent or guardian cannot be reached. Parents agree to pay all associated medical expenses and release Elevated Hoops from liability arising from any emergency care provided.
5. Refund Policy
All season fees are non-refundable once a player has been accepted onto the team.
Refunds are not provided for missed practices, games, injuries, schedule conflicts, or withdrawal from the program.
This policy exists because facilities, uniforms, insurance, and league fees are paid in advance for the entire season.
6. Leaving the Team
If a player or parent chooses to leave the team before the end of the season, no refund or partial credit will be issued. We ask that families notify staff in writing if they intend to leave so rosters and team planning can be adjusted.
7. Recruiting and Team Integrity
Recruiting players to Elevated Hoops is always welcome, but please let our coaching staff know if you have someone in mind. We appreciate being aware of any new players before they attend tryouts or practices.
Players have the right to leave the program at any time. However, recruiting players away from Elevated Hoops or encouraging current players to join another team while still on our roster is strongly discouraged.
If a player’s focus or commitment drops as a result of outside recruiting, it may affect their playing time. Our expectation is simple, while a player is part of Elevated Hoops, they are 100% committed to their team and teammates.
We will always support a player’s decision to move on when the time is right, and we’ll help make that transition positive. Our only request is full effort and commitment while representing Elevated Hoops.
8. Attendance and Commitment
Consistent attendance is expected at all practices, games, and team events.
Players who miss sessions without prior notice may experience reduced playing time.
Commitment, effort, and communication are part of being a good teammate and are essential to our program’s success.
9. Conduct and Sportsmanship
All players, parents, and coaches are expected to model positive behavior at every event.
No foul or abusive language will be tolerated.
Disrespect toward referees, opponents, teammates, or staff may result in immediate disciplinary action.
Parents must remain positive on the sidelines and let coaches coach.
Players should show hustle, respect, and teamwork at all times.
Failure to uphold these standards may result in suspension or removal from the program without refund.
10. Criminal Activity and Safety
Elevated Hoops maintains a zero-tolerance policy for criminal activity, violence, or behavior that endangers others. Any player, parent, or staff member involved in such conduct will be removed from all team activities immediately. Background checks may be required for volunteers or coaches.
11. Program Authority and Right to Dismiss
Elevated Hoops reserves the right to remove or refuse participation to any player or parent whose actions, attitude, or behavior negatively impact the team environment or conflict with our values of family, fundamentals, and fun.
This decision may be made at any time at the sole discretion of program leadership. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
12. Media and Photo Release
By participating, you grant Elevated Hoops permission to photograph or record players during practices, games, and events for use in promotional materials, social media, and the website. Parents who prefer not to have their child included in media must notify the program in writing before the season begins.
13. Facility Rules and Equipment Use
Players and families must respect all gym and facility rules. Damage to property or misuse of equipment may result in financial responsibility or removal from the program.
14. Privacy and Communication
Contact information collected during registration is used only for program communication. We do not sell or share personal information. Email is our main method for schedules, announcements, and updates.
15. Agreement and Acknowledgment
Participation in Elevated Hoops signifies that players and parents have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Your continued involvement serves as your acknowledgment of these policies and your commitment to uphold the standards of Elevated Hoops.
16: Team Selection and Readiness
Elevated Hoops is a competitive developmental program. Team placement is not guaranteed and is based on player ability, attitude, and commitment.
Players who demonstrate consistent effort and improvement are prioritized for future seasons. If a player is not ready for the current competition level, our staff may recommend additional training or evaluation before rejoining.
We believe in being honest, fair, and supportive while maintaining the competitive standard that defines our program.
17. Team Size and Selection
Elevated Hoops operates with a limited roster to provide focused instruction and development for each player. Team placement is not guaranteed and is based on readiness, commitment, and attitude.
Once the roster is full, additional players will be added to a waitlist for future seasons.
