What It Means to Be Part of Elevated Hoops

Being part of Elevated Hoops means more than wearing a jersey. Our players, parents, and coaches all play a role in creating the culture that makes this program special. We value respect, teamwork, and growth. Everyone connected to our team represents our mission to teach the game the right way and build a strong basketball family in Peoria, Arizona.

Player
Guidelines

Players are expected to show up ready to work hard and give their best effort every time they step on the court. Attendance, attitude, and effort matter as much as skill. We ask players to stay coachable, respect their teammates, and keep improving every day.

Player Expectations:

  • Arrive on time and be prepared for every practice and game.
  • Show respect for coaches, teammates, referees, and opponents.
  • Focus on fundamentals first. Skills come before flash.
  • Give maximum effort in every drill and game situation.
  • Encourage teammates and build others up.
  • Take pride in representing Elevated Hoops on and off the court.

  • Respect referees, coaches, and other families at every event.
  • Let coaches coach and players play.
  • Communicate openly and respectfully when questions arise.
  • Focus on long-term growth, not just short-term results.
  • Help build a positive and united community at every game.

  • Model respect toward players, parents, referees, and opponents.
  • Focus on effort and improvement over winning at all costs.
  • Communicate clearly and constructively with players and families.
  • Create a fun, positive environment where every player feels valued.
  • Hold themselves accountable to the same standards they expect from their players.
